Female Fan Throws Haymakers During Fight In Stands At Cleveland Guardians Game

Fights in the stands of sporting events used to be a strictly male endeavor, but more and more women are getting into the action these days. Take a fight during the Cleveland Guardians game this weekend against the Toronto Blue Jays.

A woman can be seen trying to throw some massive haymakers during the fight and the brawl ended up in several fans being ejected from the game.

Alcohol is almost always an important factor when it comes to fights in the stands, but look at the timestamp on that video. This went down sometime around 8:30 for a game that started at 7:10. Plus, that's when the video upload landed.

As anyone who has ever tried to upload a video on social media while sitting in the stands at a professional sports match can attest, they take a minute to get up. So, we're potentially talking about a fan fight around one hour after first pitch.

To be fair, baseball fights are much more acceptable than any other sport, not that I've ever engaged in a brawl in the stands – because I haven't.

However, I have paid A LOT of money to attend plenty of sports events and I simply can't justify getting kicked out and losing all of that hard-earned and well-spent cash. But baseball is generally one of the cheaper professional sports to attend, so I guess it makes the most sense to see fights in the stands.

Plus, baseball can be very boring at times. What better way to spice up your night than by throwing hands with strangers, especially strangers who are there for the same reason as you: to cheer on the Cleveland Guardians!

Few things are more American than baseball, beer and brawls.
