Fans Throw Beer At Each Other During Red Sox-Dodgers Game: VIDEO

The most exciting part of the Los Angeles Dodgers matchup against the Boston Red Sox on Sunday Night Baseball was not the game itself.

To be fair, this is also coming from a Red Sox fan, so seeing my team get kicked in the teeth for most of the evening while getting swept was anything but fun. In the stands however, something happened that I think would grip the attention of even neutral fans.

Two women got involved in an altercation, where it seemed like one of them was defending her boyfriend from another woman. The first woman told the other to keep her hands off her boyfriend, and that’s what started the argument.

Then the first woman and her boyfriend were preparing to leave, when the boyfriend waved goodbye in a mocking manner. That’s when the second woman decided to spill her drink on the man, and the man retaliated in the same fashion.

Chaos ensued, punches were thrown between four men around the two women, and security members had their hands full trying to break up the melee.

Not only did everyone around them watch the whole thing in shock, but Dodgers stars Teoscar Hernandez and Shohei Ohtani could see the whole thing clearly from their dugout. Hernandez seemed willing to go up there himself, as he started throwing fake punches, to Ohtani’s amusement.

I guess the two superstars got to witness two beatings that night: one in the stands, and one on the field. A good night for them, but a bad night for me.

And the fans in the fight, of course.
