Ex-Wrestler Makes More Accusations Against Vince McMahon

Vince McMahon came under fire once again after a lawsuit filed last month accused him of sex trafficking.

That led to to McMahon resigning from his position as executive chairman of the WWE's parent company TKO Group Holdings.

Now, a former wrestler has made further accusations against McMahon.

Paul Roma wrestled in the then-WWF from the mid-1980s to the early 1990s. In an appearance on the NewsNation Banfield, Roma claimed that McMahon is aware of sexual misconduct that has occurred at the company over the years. As it stands, McMahon has not been criminally charged in relation to any of the accusations.

"They were asked to do things, sexual things with other men that they did not want to do," Roma said in the interview, per Daily Mail.

"Vince is fully aware, as are a lot of other guys, fully aware of what I'm speaking about right now,' added Roma, who wrestled in what is now known as the WWE from 1984 until 1991. 'And there's guys that have passed away, vice presidents that are part of it or were a part of it."

Roma Alluded To Knowledge Of Other Alleged Incidents

In the interview, Roma responded to a previous interview that his friend and former business partner  Mario Mancini gave on NewsNation.

In it, Mancini claimed he was aware of one incident worse than those in the latest lawsuit filed by former company employee Janel Grant

Mancini declined to get into specifics about the incident he was alluding to, but host Ashleigh Banfield asked Roma if he knew what Mancini was referring to.

He said that he did.

"I really shouldn't right now, but yes, I do know what it is, and it is worse," Roma responded.

"Mario and I are really surprised,' Roma said. 'We spoke about it, and we're surprised that no one has come forward. But on the flip side, I think that, you know, they're of an age now that, you know, they may be married have kids, and they don't want to open Pandora's box. And I can't blame them. And I said that to Mario; 'Can you blame them? Do you, would you really want to open this up this can of worms?'"

Roma Claimed People Around McMahon Were ‘Very Much Into’ Misconduct

While Roma claimed that there was talk of allegations against McMahon during his time with the company, he pointed to the people around the company's former boss as having engaged in some of this misconduct.

"Yes, it was it was pretty regular," Roma said of the allegations against McMahon. "You heard it on a regular basis for the most part, then you wouldn't hear it for a while, and then it will come full circle. But it wasn't, you know, so much Vince, as it was the people that he had surrounding him. You're talking about an industry where you have young, good-looking, well-built men in the ring, half-naked, three-quarters naked, actually."

Roma claimed that it was vice presidents and bookers who sometimes took advantage of employees, including wrestlers. He said that this environment led to some wrestlers leaving the business entirely.

"They put you in a really, really bad situation, especially once you started making some money, you kind of get comfortable with that," Roma said. "And then you find out that your job is on the line, either do it or get fired, and I witnessed quite a few that walked away. Money wasn't worth it, for them to go that route, so to speak.'
