ESPN Loose Cannon Paul Finebaum Takes A Sledgehammer To Colorado Football Program With Ruthless Rant

In case you were wondering where ESPN college football analyst Paul Finebaum stood on the University of Colorado football program, you can rest easy tonight.

He hates them. HATES them. It's only July and Paul is beyond DONE with the Colorado Buffaloes. Not so much Deion Sanders, but certainly Colorado.

Finebaum took a seat this afternoon, live from SEC Media Day No. 1, grabbed the biggest sledgehammer he could find in Dallas, and ruthlessly started beating the piss out of the entire football program in a wild two-minute segment.

Enjoy!

Paul Finebaum isn't wrong about Colorado

Whoaaaaaaaaa Nellie! What a rant. Bravo, Paul Finebaum. Love him or hate him, you have to respect the #content.

This is what July is all about in college football. It's when all the talking heads get to unleash after sitting idly by for eight months. They get to come out of the ESPN closet, dust themselves off, and absolutely unleash hell on the Colorado Buffaloes.

Now, is Paul wrong? Eh. I'm not sure. Frankly, he's probably not. Shedeur Sanders sort of set Colorado up for all of this when he said they were everyone's Super Bowl last week – which is still hilarious – so it's somewhat self-inflicted.

I do appreciate how Paul makes it clear that Deion Sanders ain't irrelevant. He's anything but irrelevant, if we're being honest.

Prime's been an absolute lighting rod for college football over the past two seasons. I know Colorado STUNK for 70% of last season, but don't forget – the first month of the season was literally dedicated to Boulder.

You had College GameDay on site for a game against Colorado State. Colorado State! The entire country stayed up until like, 1 a.m., just to watch Colorado barely eke it out in triple overtime.

So yes, Colorado was very relevant in that regard. But then the Buffs lost every game from the middle of September on, and sort of faded away.

Until now, of course. It's a new season, they're in a new conference, and everyone is 0-0. That means it's GO time, not only for the players, but for the talking heads.

And nobody does it better than SEC Paul.
