Dre Greenlaw Suffers Serious Achilles Injury During Routine Jog
San Francisco's defense suffered an unfortunate freak accident on the sideline. Niners linebacker Dre Greenlaw went down with an Achilles injury after slipping on the field at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday.
In the second quarter, Greenlaw ran onto the field with the unit.

Going untouched, Greenlaw slipped and suffered a lower-body injury.
The CBS broadcast later ruled Greenlaw OUT for the remainder of the contest, confirming the brutal Achilles injury.
A cart appeared to carry Greenlaw back to the Niners locker room. Greenlaw appeared dejected as the cart pulled away from the biggest stage of the year.

Allegiant Stadium's grass field will undoubtedly come under fire from the turf apologies; though Allegiant's field still claimed fewer Achilles than MetLife Stadium's turf.
