Drag Queen Carries Olympic Torch In Paris
Carrying the Olympic Torch is widely viewed as a honor, reserved for athletes, dignitaries or other notable public figures.
But in yet another sign of how modern culture degrades and denigrates important traditions in order to appease extreme elements of society, the 2024 Paris Olympics are starting with an insulting addition to the torch-bearer ranks: a drag queen.
No, seriously.
On Wednesday, a drag queen named "Minima Geste" posted on Instagram that he'd been given the torch to carry as part of the progression during the last few days before the Opening Ceremony.
It's a truly humiliating moment for the Olympics, for the organizing committee that let this happen and for the entire 2024 Paris Games.
The caption to the post, according to Google Translate, reads:
"Wow, 9 months after receiving this DM asking me to carry the flame, it's done, this Sunday July 14th. I realized this unique and phenomenal opportunity, and the positive image sent back (when we see the outcry that there was when I was announced) It’s recognition of my actions for years now and damn I look SO pretty in this uniform 💖 Obviously, I regret that after months of hatred on social networks and in the media, I was not allowed to do this in public, with my loved ones and especially with the community who came to support me and live that with me. Thank you to everyone who came and everyone who followed me on the live broadcast."

Paris Olympics Starting On Most Embarrassing Possible Note
If there is one positive to take from this, it's that there was apparently outcry from some members of the public and the media. And rightfully so.
What possible justification can there be for giving a drag queen the honor of carrying the Olympic Torch? Just as the Los Angeles Dodgers humiliated their storied franchise history by honoring an extremist group of anti-Catholic drag nuns, this is a humiliation for the Olympics as an event.
As the Libs of TikTok post noted, this is what happens when institutions and organizations are taken over by the far left. Members of the far left impose their will, their priorities and their beliefs on others. Claiming to be "tolerant" while demonizing opposing views.
It's offensive, and frankly inexcusable. Which is probably exactly why those involved encouraged it. To show that they're in charge, and you have to live under their rules. No matter how embarrassing those rules are.
