DJ Burns Celebrates Final Four Berth With Arena Security Staff Members After Beating Duke In NCAA Tournament

The legacy of DJ Burns lived on for another week after North Carolina State defeated Duke on Sunday night to clinch a Final Four berth, and the party was on, which included arena security staff members in Dallas. 

As the final seconds ticked off the clock in Dallas, the Wolfpack had once again shocked the college basketball world by winning their ninth game in a row, thanks in large part to the play of fan-favorite DJ Burns. We are witnessing one of the biggest stories in the sport over this last month, and we still have at least one more game to watch the big man from NC State. 

Whether it's fans in the stands or members of the arena security staff, DJ Burns is a man of the people, doing it all with a big smile. 

Following the win over Duke, the Woldpack star celebrated with teammates on the court, and then rushed off to the postgame news conference to discuss the monumental moment. But it was after his meeting with the media where DJ Burns once again showed that he has become such a lovable character in this NCAA Tournament. 

As he was trying to find the locker room, arena security members shouted for the NC State star to please come take a photo with them. The Wolfpack's smiling big man ran over to the office area where he was met by numerous staff members looking to take a photo, which he obviously obliged, with a grin on his face. 

After scoring 29 points in the win over Duke, the college basketball world has certainly jumped on the Wolfpack train, especially for a team that was reportedly going to fire head coach Kevin Keatts before his team made a run in the ACC Tournament. 

Now, NC State will have to coordinate travel for two teams, as the women's basketball squad defeated Texas on Sunday to clinch their spot in the final four as well.

It's safe to assume that campus will be rocking this week in Raleigh, N.C., as both teams come home to prepare for a shot to win a national championship. 

As for DJ Burns, I would expect the NIL deals to continue pouring in, as the country gets prepared for the Wolfpack to continue their run in Phoenix.
