Disturbing Dale Earnhardt Vs. Jeff Gordon AI Fight Leaves NASCAR Fans Horrified
If you woke up today thinking to yourself, ‘Man, I wish just once I had gotten to see Dale Earnhardt and Jeff Gordon fight back in the day,’ then you are in LUCK.
And yes, I realize none of you woke up actually thinking that, BUT … you are now, so stay with me. I promise the payoff is worth it.
Earlier this week, some lunatic NASCAR fan did wake up and choose that sort of violence, piecing together quite possibly the most disturbing 5-second video you'll see not only today, but perhaps over your entire lifetime.
They were rivals on the track. They carried NASCAR into arguably its greatest era in the mid-1990s. And now, for the first time – thanks to AI! – we now know who would've won in a fight between the great Dale Earnhardt and Jeff Gordon.
Sort of …

My God. I can't stop watching. I want to stop, but I can't. It starts out so innocently, and then crumbles so rapidly I don't even know where to begin.
Well, actually, I do. Let's start with this: how about Jeff Gordon transforming into some weird mashup of John Travolta and Robin Williams? Seems odd. I thought these AI robots were supposed to be smarter than us? It was just an odd choice. Certainly had the ‘wow’ factor, though, so that's worth something.
The real kicker here is the random driver/crew member seemingly laying beside Dale's iconic Monte Carlo, who all of a sudden is getting attacked by AI Jeff Gordon/John Travolta/Robin Williams. Where did he come from? Why is he down there? What the HELL is wrong with his teeth?!
Why are they so big and white? And where is Dale going? He appears to leave when fake Jeff Gordon starts (maybe?) trying to bite this random guy, but then he pops back up at the very end.
Maybe he had a change of heart when he saw AI Jeff start beating the piss out of him and decided to come back and help? I don't know.
Anyway, this above video went viral on NASCAR Twitter this week for obvious reasons, which is maybe the most on-brand thing ever for 2024.
Dale Earnhardt couldn't possibly comprehend the world we live in today. And you know what? He's probably better off for it.
Raise hell, Praise Dale!
PS: yes, I know there's a gay joke somewhere in there about Jeff Gordon. I ain't making it. I'm just gonna leave it alone and let y'all draw your own conclusions.
