In her postgame interview with ESPN's Holly Rowe, Staley thanked God repeatedly for South Carolina's win, saying she and her team have received "uncommon favor" from the Man Above.

"We serve an unbelievable God," Staley said.
Staley's postgame speech, on its own, was incredible.
While Staley's position on trans athletes may conflict with everything the Good Word says about man and woman made in the image of God, it's at least admirable for her to give praise on a national stage.
Before receiving the trophy, her third national championship, Staley also pulled an incredibly classy move by praising Iowa star Caitlin Clark.

Clark's historic season has propped up women's college basketball, introducing the game to millions of new fans.
Staley stopped herself short of calling Caitlin the women's college basketball GOAT.
"You are one of the GOATs of our game and we appreciate you," Staley added.
