Davante Adams Goes To War Against Chargers' Social Media Team

Las Vegas Raiders receiver Davante Adams is feeding his ‘bulletin board’ to the Los Angeles Chargers after the team's social media account threw a jab at the six-time Pro Bowler.

While the folks running the Chargers' social media deserve credit for their strange humor — seen largely through their schedule release videos — the account runners are guilty of setting the Chargers up to fail by poking the bear (here and there).

In 2023, the Chargers ‘kept receipts’ on their haters (i.e., challenged them) … but the haters were right, and the Bolts finished 5-12.

Adams wasn't happy about being referred to as ‘garbage’ in the Chargers' 2024 schedule rollout and issued a response directly to their people in charge of socials, warning them to keep his name off of their keyboards.

Joining "Up & Adams" on Tuesday, Adams shared the following:

"I thought about responding on social media to it, being funny there, but I figured it would be better to just beat their head in real life. ….

"Hopefully, the people that made that post because it’s not the players’ fault, they didn’t have anything to do with the post. This is directed strictly toward the Chargers’ social media page: Please keep my name out of your mouth and show some respect."

More than ever, Adams wants to beat the Chargers, badly.

Come Week 1 when the Chargers and Raiders kick off their respective seasons facing each other, Adams will be a lock to drop 200-plus receiving yards.

Last year, Adams and the Raiders punished the Chargers so badly on Monday Night Football that they forced LA's hand into firing former head coach Brandon Staley. After being punked for 63 points by the Raiders, perhaps the Chargers' social media should be more self-aware.

"My first game against them, they clearly forgot, I had like 10 catches and 141 yards and a touchdown," Adams shared with Kay.

"And then the next time, that same year, it was like 177 yards and two touchdowns I think it was that game. So I just wanted to kind of remind them of what they’ve been going through as it pertains to playing against me."
