Dan Hurley Gets Free Wings For Life For Staying At UConn, And His Sauce Choices Are Legit

Dan Hurley is going to be eating pretty well after sticking around at UConn.

The head coach of the Huskies turned down the Lakers to remain at UConn, and he reportedly has a new deal on the table worth around $50 million.

His decision was a great win for college basketball. It's awesome to see a man opt to stay at the college level over going to one of the NBA's most iconic franchises.

Hurley will also have some solid eating options now that he's remaining at UConn.

J. Timothy's Taverne vowed to give the UConn coach free wings for life if he stayed in Storrs prior to him making a decision, and after news broke Monday, the popular restaurant made it clear the offer was legit.

Hurley can now get free wings at the Plainville establishment whenever he wants.

Because I'm a Big J journalist, I hopped on over to the restaurant's website to see what awaits Hurley. There are some solid options. He'll be able to choose from original buffalo, honey gold BBQ, Teriyaki, sweet red chili and buffalo chipotle dry rub. I'm not going to lie, that dry rub sounds absolutely incredible. I can almost taste it in my mouth right now.

Hurley absolutely needs to be taking advantage of this deal. Yes, he's already rich and can afford his own wings. However, a deal is a deal.

J. Timothy's Taverne wanted to sweeten the pot to get Hurley to stick around, and now that he has, it's time to get some wings.

Props to Hurley for staying with the Huskies and getting free wings for life. Let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
