Dabo Swinney Has Perfectly Confused Reaction To Clemson Playing On The CW

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney has absolutely no idea what The CW is or where to find it.

The Tigers are having an incredibly rough year, and are currently sitting at 4-3. While a lot of teams might be okay with a 4-3 record, that definitely doesn't fly when it comes to the Clemson Tigers.

Clemson isn't too far removed from winning two national titles, but that feels like a different lifetime given how the team is currently playing.

Now, the team will be playing on The CW against North Carolina State Saturday with a 2:00 EST kick time. It's a bizarre situation college football fans aren't used to. Dabo Swinney also has no idea where fans can find the game on TV.

"I have no idea what it is. I don't even know where it's at. Where do I go to it," the Clemson head coach said in response to being asked about playing on The CW.

Clemson is playing on The CW, and nobody is too pumped.

Imagine being told five years ago that the Clemson Tigers would be playing on The CW. I imagine most of you would have a lot of questions. I certainly know I would.

Fans feel the same way, and the reactions are pretty funny.

The CW is famous for "Smallville," "One Tree Hill," "Riverdale" and other shows mostly meant for teenagers. "Riverdale" is one of the most outrageously stupid shows ever made. That's what The CW is known for. It's not exactly HBO or FX.

It's a network meant for people who haven't graduated college yet and love gossip.

Now, it's showing a Clemson football game, and Dabo Swinney doesn't have a clue what's going on. I guess this is what happens when a team falls to 4-3 and is racing in the wrong direction.

Instead of a primetime game on a major network, the Tigers end up playing at 2:00 in the afternoon on The CW. It's downright weird, and I won't apologize for my assessment.

Best of luck to fans of the Tigers this weekend as they attempt to locate The CW on TV. It certainly sounds like they won't be alone.
