'College Football 25' Highest-Ranked QBs Will Start Several Arguments

The top 100 players in "College Football 25" have been revealed, and there's one position everyone wants to know about:

The quarterbacks.

The first college football game from EA Sports comes out next week, and just like a lot of fans around the country, I'm juiced up and ready to roll.

Now, we've got a solid look at who the stars in the game will be.

"College Football 25" player rankings released.

EA Sports dropped the top 100 players with Michigan CB Will Johnson, LSU offensive lineman Will Campbell and Oklahoma State RB Ollie Gordon all coming in at 96 to take the top three spots.

You can see the full top 10 players in the game in the tweet below.

While the top 10 players are interesting, we all know it's about the best QBs. The top-ranked QBs are listed below:

  • Shedeur Sanders - 93 - Colorado
  • Carson Beck - 93 - Georgia
  • Quinn Ewers - 92 - Texas
  • Dillon Gabriel - 92 - Oregon
  • Jalen Milroe - 90 - Alabama
  • Jaxson Dart - 90 - Ole Miss
  • Jalon Daniels - 90 - Kansas
  • Kaidon Salter - 90 - Liberty

Putting Shedeur ahead of Quinn Ewers, Jalen Milroe and Jaxson Dart and having him tied with Carson Beck for the best QB rating in the game is a very bold move.

Is Shedeur Sanders a really good QB with an NFL future? There's no doubt the answer is yes. Is he the best QB in America? I'm not sold on that at all. I think a lot of fans would take several QBs on that list over the Colorado passer in a heartbeat.

Remember, Colorado went 1-8 in the team's final nine games. That's not all Shedeur's fault, but the team scored more than 20 points just once in its final five losses.

There's no doubt Shedeur being tied as the top-rated passer is going to stir some serious debates and for good reason. The stats might be impressive, but the offense as a whole was not last season.

The reactions to this are going to be spectacular, and I think many people will agree with my take. Let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
