Electric 'College Football 25' Memes Flood Social Media Ahead Of Game's Release

Social media is on fire ahead of "College Football 25" dropping Monday.

The first college football game from EA Sports in 11 years will officially be available to play starting at 4:00 EDT, and it's hard to put into words how excited fans are.

As I've said a few times before, I went out and bought a PS5 just to play "College Football 25." That's where my excitement level is at.

Social media erupts with "College Football 25" memes.

Well, judging from the reactions floating around social media ahead of the game's release, it seems like people are unbelievably juiced.

The meme game is off the charts right now. Check out some of the best tweets below, and hit me with your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

Damn, am I the only one with a few tears in my eyes right now? We've come a long way, gentlemen. We've come a long way, and by the time some of you read this, you might already be playing.

There are few things that bring people in the sports world together. It certainly seems like the release of "College Football 25" is right at the top of the list.

I downloaded the game Sunday night, and it couldn't have gone better. Took about an hour, and now I'm ready and waiting for it to be playable.

While we're here, let's crack a beer and pour one out for "NCAA Football 14." It held the line for 11 years until a new game came out. We will never forget it or the memories so many of us made, but its watch has finally ended just like Jon Snow.

Are you playing the game? If so, I want to know what team you're using! Hit me up at David.Hookstead@outkick.com if those thoughts and more.
