Rumored Price Of College Football Video Game Sets Social Media On Fire: REACTIONS

How much are you willing to pay for "College Football 25"?

That question and topic set social media on fire late Sunday night when the X account @IsItOutEA released a screenshot allegedly from GameStop's database showing the Heisman version of the game costs a staggering $149.99.

The base model version of the game was listed for $69.99.

"College Football 25" rumored price draws reactions on X.

Following the price leaking, people had plenty of things to say. Check out some of the reactions below, and hit me with your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.

There's no doubt paying $150 for a video game is a ton of money. It's a lot of cash for a single item, whether you're a game or not. Yet, people are going to play it.

That's a guarantee. The hype for this game is off the charts. People have waited 11 years for a new college football video game. "NCAA Football 14" came out summer 2013. Then, the games were ended because of payment issues and a lawsuit.

Thanks to NIL, players can earn money and the series from EA Sports is returning. So, how much would you pay? I'll happily hand over $70 for the standard version. You can't take the money from me fast enough.

I'm literally buying a PS5 just to play this game, and I can't wait to spend the money. That's how excited I am for "College Football 25," and I'm not even a gamer.

An official release date announcement for the game is expected at some point this week. The hype will only grow louder once that happens. Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
