Girlfriend Of The Year Pulls Classy Move For New College Football Video Game

Gentleman, we might have found the coolest woman on the internet, and it was in an unexpected place.

"College Football 25" comes out in less than a month, and the expectation for many guys is that we're going to seclude ourselves in a gaming cave to enjoy the first college football video game in eleven years.

That means many girlfriends are going to be left alone with a bunch of free time on their hands. I hate to say it (I actually don't at all), but my girlfriend is probably going to have to get used to not seeing me much after the game's release.

While we don't know how she'll react - I'll keep OutKick readers updated - at least one woman pulled off a very classy move.

Girlfriend goes viral for "College Football 25" gesture.

A man posted on Reddit that his girlfriend thought the game came out this month, and to celebrate, she made him a cake resembling a football field with the message, "It was nice knowing you. Happy NCAAF Day."

"Girlfriend thought the game came out in June instead of July. Maybe she’s tired of hearing me talk about it she’s a keeper tho," the Reddit user explained. When I reached out and spoke with him, he told me that he did break the news to her that it was early…..but it was a solid practice run!

You can see a photo of the awesome cake below.

Naturally, people had plenty of awesome reactions. Check out some of the best below, and hit me with your reactions at David.Hookstead@outkick.com:

  • U better start playing the absolute f*ck out of NCAA14 to not let her think she failed.
  • This guy gets it.
  • As a married man, let me give you advice. If your gf is thoughtful enough to buy you a cake for the launch of NCAA 25 then your first step is to eat some cake. Next step is going to a jeweler to buy a ring. Don’t f*ck this one up OP. These unicorns aren’t easily found in the wild.
  • You need to start picking out potential honeymoon locations.
  • Wherever the CFP title game is held that year will probably be the best option.
  • God, I see what you have done for others
  • Marry that one, bro, or hand over a number.
  • If she doesn't have a rock on her hand by the actual NCAAF day, we are all coming to kick your ass, OP.
  • My now wife bought me Series X and a monitor during Covid. I got a ring for her that holiday season when I had enough money saved. My brother please do not f*ck this up. Women like this are rare.
  • She's a keeper! The best kind of women are the ones who are goofy, fun, and love you for who you are.
  • Proposing on the actual release day is the only thing to do.
  • Well I didn't expect to tear up today, that's amazing.
  • Never...NEVER let this woman go.

Damn, is it dusty in here or is it just me? This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen, and it doesn't even matter the woman was off by a month.

All that matters is this woman knows how important the return of college football video games is for men around America, and she went out of her way to honor it.

This dude needs to wife this woman up by the time the game comes out July 19th (July 16th for early access) or he's failed in miserable fashion.

A woman who recognizes the importance of building a dynasty and chasing national titles is the kind of woman you want to keep.

Huge shoutout to this unnamed hero. She's forever an internet legend in the world of college football video games. Let me know your thoughts on the kind gesture at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
