Cleveland Cavaliers Honor Kelce Bros With Bobbleheads; Shaq Breaks Bobblehead On Live TV
In case you didn't get enough of the Kelce brothers from Jason's 40-minute retirement speech on Monday, Jason and Travis Kelce are back and sitting courtside for Tuesday's Cleveland Cavaliers game.
Jason and Travis Kelce, two Cleveland natives, appeared at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse for Tuesday evening's game against the Boston Celtics.
The Cavs honored the famous NFL bros with bobbleheads and sold Jason and Travis Kelce merchandise for charity. As for the bobbleheads, the resemblances were passable, even if Jason's was missing some gray on his hair and beard.
TNT's ‘Inside the NBA’ crew received one of the Kelce Bros. bobbleheads but made a mistake by letting Shaq handle it. Shaq accidentally snapped Jason off the bobblehead, leaving only his New Balance sneakers stuck to the figurine.
Proceeds from the Cavs' Kelce merchandise sale go toward Heights Schools Foundation Initiatives. Jason and Travis attended Cleveland Heights High School, keeping a strong connection to their roots.
The charity's mission statement announces, "The Foundation brings together alumni and community members to support current students and staff through student scholarships, grants to teachers and innovative programming."
Monday's retirement announcement by Jason Kelce capped a 13-season run in Philadelphia. Though the elite center sustained success till the end of his career, OutKick's Armando Salguero offered some insight on why Jason doesn't crack the NFL's Mount Rushmore of Centers.
Rushmore or not, Jason Kelce will have a bobblehead to remember his lasting inspiration for the Cleveland community.
An even bigger star arrived at Tuesday's game (not Taylor Swift).
Award-winning hot dog eater Joey Chestnut put on a hell of a halftime show at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, eating 39 pierogies in two minutes.
