Chiefs Star Shows Supports For Harrison Butker With Blunt Message
Chiefs star Chris Jones proudly supports Harrison Butker as the outrage mob tries to crush the NFL kicker.
The Kansas City Chiefs kicker has been getting hammered by the woke mob after giving a commencement speech at Benedictine College - a small conservative Catholic school in Kansas.
The NFL veteran promoted traditional family values, encouraged women to embrace marriage and motherhood, praised his wife for being a wonderful woman and lightly dabbled in politics. The part about supporting women getting married has infuriated some.
There are multiple petitions to ruin Butker's career, the official Kansas City X account doxxed where he lives, the NFL released a statement condemning him and he's been tarred as public enemy number one. Now, he's getting support from within the locker room.
Chris Jones supports Harrison Butker.
Kansas City Chiefs star defensive lineman Chris Jones is going viral after he tweeted his support for his embattled teammate.
He only needed a total of six words to make it clear he stands with Butker.
As a reminder of how detached the woke mob is from reality, the comments on Jones' tweet were overwhelmingly positive.
This is what being a great teammate looks like. This is what it means to have your guy's back. Jones didn't endorse any part of the speech, and he didn't say he agreed with it. Maybe he agrees with all of it. Maybe he agrees with none of it.
It ultimately doesn't really matter. What matters is that his teammate is being targeted by the woke mob, and people are trying to destroy his life.
You simply can't stay silent as that's happening to a teammate. Criticize behind closed doors. Always praise publicly. That's a mindset that has worked for many people and organizations. Jones has now stepped up and taken a stand for Butker……and people are pouring in to also show their support! Lou Holtz and Cole Beasley have also stepped up to defend Butker. There's no question support is growing.
Props to Jones for coming to his teammates' defense. That's exactly what we like to see. Let me know at David.Hookstead@outkick.com if you agree.
