Charles Barkley Caught On Camera Sharing Touching Moment With Alabama Star After Heartbreaking Loss
Charles Barkley pulled a classy move after the Alabama Crimson Tide fell to the UConn Huskies in the Final Four.
Alabama fought like dogs throughout the tournament and made the program's first ever Final Four appearance Saturday.
Unfortunately for Crimson Tide fans, the Huskies were simply way too much to overcome as Alabama fell 86-72 to Dan Hurley's team.
After the game, Barkley was caught on video walking up to Alabama star Mark Sears and consoling the talented senior guard.
It's not clear what was said between the two, but there's no doubt it was a touching moment.
Charles Barkley filmed speaking to Mark Sears after Alabama fell to UConn.
Again, it's not clear what was said between the two, but it's definitely neat to see Barkley take some time to try to cheer up Sears after a brutal loss.
Alabama hung around for a bit, but the UConn Huskies were simply way too much for Nate Oats and his squad to compete with.
However, losing to the Huskies doesn't diminish the fact this was an incredible year for the Crimson Tide and Sears. It was a hell of a season that ended with the school's first Final Four appearance.
If that doesn't put a smile on the faces of Alabama fans, then I don't know what will.
Props to Barkley for taking a moment to exchange words with Sears after an incredible tournament run.
