Charles Barkley Disses San Francisco For Turning Into Homeless Mess

Charles Barkley took a hilarious shot at the crooked city of San Francisco during a chat with Reggie Miller and Golden State's Draymond Green Sunday night … oh, and some NBA All-Star Game played in the background as they spoke.

Barkley singled out San Fran's crippling homelessness problem as they looked ahead to 2025's NBA All-Star Game, slated to take place at Chase Center in the Bay Area.

Asking Reggie Miller about his affinity for worn-down San Fran, Barkley joked, "Have you had a chance to be cold around those homeless crooks in San Francisco?"

Barkley added that SF residents need a bulletproof vest to survive in the city.

All sad but somewhat true statements by Barkley. Candace Parker butted in, arguing "We love San Francisco" but Barkley shut that down. "No, we don't!"

As OutKick's Clay Travis rightly stated, Chuck's comment became the only redeeming part of Sunday's All-Star Game.

Even as the highest-scoring ASG of all time, with the East scoring a record 211 points, the players' malaise translated to audiences not giving a rip about the low-effort performances.

As is usual with Chuck, his lack of restraint leads to brutally honest points that the media's too afraid to express.

Discussing a liberal city's issues with crippling crime? Not many are willing to go there.

That's Charles Barkley — one of the NBA's best current voices. He'll never pull a punch — whether it's dissing the ‘fat chicks’ of San Antonio or straightening out dopey NBA players.

Circling back to San Francisco … the city proved during a recent visit from the CCP's Xi Jinping it can clean up the homeless problem at the snap of a finger. In that case, sweeping away the homeless encampments around SF was merely a play for good appearances.

Rather than performing such duties for the people of San Fran, the city's progressive governance allows communities to sink to third-world conditions by permitting homeless encampments and lawlessness to come with a slap on the wrist.

Even Californians acknowledge the city as a criminal hot spot.

San Francisco's homeless areas turned parts of the beloved Bay Area region into scenes from "The Walking Dead." And Charles Barkley's had enough of the terrible conditions marring the city. Welcome to the party, pal.
