Bryson DeChambeau Wants To Play Golf With Kamala Harris After Mega Viral Video With Donald Trump

Bryson DeChambeau has cracked the code of how to go mega viral on YouTube and social media. All you have to do is play golf with some of the highest-ranking current and former politicians in the world, like Donald Trump. It's as simple as that.

In less than 48 hours since uploading the video with the former President to his channel, DeChambeau has earned over 300,000 new followers, 6.6 million views, and raised nearly $26,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project.

Speaking ahead of this week's LIV Golf event in England, DeChambeau shared some details about how the collaboration came to be while also confirming that it was filmed weeks before the failed assassination attempt of Trump.

"We were able to call out and ask him to play, and he said yeah, absolutely. He’s obviously a figure that can pull a lot of views, and we thought it would be great to showcase his golfing ability, and he’s a pretty good golfer," DeChambeau explained.

"It was a lot of fun to do, and it took a little bit, but we got it approved and it was fun to shoot. It happened in three days. I think we did it on July 6 on Saturday, so it was a few weeks before all the stuff [the unsuccessful assassination attempt on Trump] went down, and yeah, it was a great time. We had a blast, and again, I look forward to doing a lot more of those with other influential people."

That group of "influential people" includes figures on the opposite side of the political aisle.

While it's unclear if Vice President Kamala Harris plays golf - and a stretch to deem her influential - she's undoubtedly one of the most-talked-about people on the planet at the moment.

DeChambeau was specifically asked about linking up with Harris for a video, and of course he welcomed the idea as it would result in millions and millions of views yet again. Former President Barack Obama is on his shortlist as well.

"I’m more than willing to play with them," DeChambeau said. "I have no issues whatsoever. The thing about golf is that the more we can utilize golf to bring everyone together in a cool way, I think that’s the vision of the global game of golf."

"Politicians are divisive figures for sure and I respect and understand that," he continued. "I think showing the content side of it, creating content, was the most important thing we were trying to accomplish there and raising a lot of money for charity."

Whether you're a ‘Never Trumper’ or find Harris annoying, a two-time major champion playing golf with the biggest U.S. politicians is and would be must-watch stuff.
