Bronny James' Basketball Skills Roasted By NFL Punter

Bronny James already has a ton of attention on him as he enters the upcoming NBA Draft.

However, unlike when his father, LeBron, was drafted with the No. 1 pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2003 Draft, Bronny is being talked about for another reason. He may just not be that good - which shouldn't come as a surprise considering he averaged 4.8 points per game as a freshman at USC last season.

One person that especially wasn't impressed by the 19-year-old's NBA Draft Combine performance Monday was Carolina Panthers punter Johnny Hekker, who decided to hop on Twitter and criticize Bronny's slowness to get off a shot.

PANTHERS SAFETY JOHNNY HEKKER RIPS BRONNY

"Bro's catch and release is 2-3 business days," Hekker wrote as James slowly made his way around the 3-point line in front of scouts. I don't know why, but there's something hilariously funny about the Panthers punter chiming in on Bronny, but he does have a point.

Looking at the video, Bronny is definitely taking his sweet ol' time before tossing up some 3s, of which he made 19 of 25. Sure, that's a good number - if he can even get the shot off on time.

Immediately, Hekker's tweet was met by Bronny James fans that think if they kiss up to him that LeBron will acknowledge them.

Others had some funnier takes like this Panthers fan hilariously stating the obvious.

THE TRUTH IS…

Bronny James should not be anywhere near the NBA Draft this year - he's simply not ready. So why is he doing it? Because of his last name.

LeBron James has been saying for a full decade that he wants to play at least one season with his son and then he will retire. Well, LeBron needless to say, still has some pull in the league as the 39-year-old averaged 25.7ppg.

The big question will be though - who will the James's (Yes, plural) end up playing for?
