Bob Huggins Appears To Have Lost Significant Weight: PHOTOS

Former West Virginia basketball coach Bob Huggins appears to have shed some serious pounds.

The former coach of the Mountaineers left the program following a DUI arrest, and it seems unlikely he'll ever return to coaching. He finished his time with the Mountaineers with a 345-203 record and 11 NCAA tournament appearances. The man is viewed as a legend by WVU fans, despite his rough exit from the program.

Huggins hasn't spent much time in the public eye since leaving the program, but he made a random appearance Wednesday night for the team's game against Cincinnati - another school Huggins coached.

However, the incredibly successful basketball coach looked a bit different. Well, he actually looked a lot different. Take a look at his dramatic weight loss in some of the photos below.

For comparison, here is a photo of Bob Huggins during his final season as the head coach of the West Virginia Mountaineers. The difference is obvious.

While I'm not going to speculate on the exact amount of weight Huggins lost, it's pretty clear that he dumped some pounds. The man looks like he's much skinnier and looks much better.

As someone who used to be pretty fat before dropping 70 pounds, I can promise you not being fat is the way to go. You have more energy, your body simply feels better, and your future years will thank you.

While Huggins might not be coaching anymore, he does appear dedicated to living a healthier lifestyle following his arrest. It's clearly paying off for him. It's never a bad time to get in better shape. Let me know your thoughts on Huggins dropping weight at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
