Bianca Belair Wants Caitlin Clark To Get In On Next Year's Royal Rumble

Despite how some in WNBA circles may feel, Caitlin Clark has been great for the league. So, could there be another sport that might like to see if they can get a little Caitlin Clark bump?

Perhaps — oh, I don't know — professional wrestling?

In a recent interview, WWE star Bianca Belair was talking about the recent news that Royal Rumble will take place at Indianapolis' Lucas Oil Stadium in 2025, as will future editions of both Wrestlemania and SummerSlam.

In the interview with ComicBook.com's Matt Aguilar, Belair touched on the possibility of Clark jumping in the ring.

"Everybody is already asking that. Even before the press conference, they're bringing up Caitlin Clark," Belair said, per The Spun. "I love what's happening with the WNBA. I love that women are getting more spotlight and more attention. I've always said that we don't need to do anything different, we just need opportunities and media coverage."

So, how about a big opportunity for some media coverage by having Clark take some bumps?

Belair seemed to like the idea.

"Caitlin Clark if you're watching, come on and join. Come in the Royal Rumble. You can be one of the 30 participants. That's what's exciting about the Royal Rumble. You never know what's going to happen.

"You might see Caitlin Clark 2025 Royal Rumble in Indianapolis."

A hometown athlete jumping in the ring would be far from unprecedented. Former Eagles center Jason Kelce and current Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson both did it at Wrestlemania — which was held in Philadelphia — earlier this year.

Who knows, it could happen? I mean, Caitlin Clark is already practically everywhere. Why not give it a whirl?

Plus, I feel like making a WWE appearance is something you do just to say you did it even if you don't want to. Being asked to be in the Royal Rumble is an immediate "yes" just to have it on your CV.

We'll see if Clark answers Belair's call next year.
