The Bengals Are Selling Cheap Used TVs Amid Stadium Renovation

Need a new TV, but you're on a budget? The Cincinnati Bengals are here to help! As renovations begin at Paycor Stadium, the organization and the county are selling all the old TVs from the venue's hallways and suites.

In late May, Hamilton County announced in a press release that they were selling five- to seven-year-old "gently used" television sets at a steep discount. According to WCPO, they already sold 200 TVs during the first round on June 1, and they're set to unload another 150 on Saturday.

And in case you're in the market, here are the prices (cash only):

  • 24" – 39" for $30
  • 40" – 49" for $40
  • 50" – 55" for $50
  • 56" – 85" for $60

The Bengals plan to use the proceeds to pay Tee Higgins.

I kid, I kid. The sale is first-come, first-served, and it starts at 8 a.m. at Paycor Stadium’s Gate D on July 13. Buyers are instructed to "bring their own loading help and a proper vehicle in which the purchases can fit."

As for the stadium itself, talks are underway between the Bengals and Hamilton County for a new lease, as the current deal between the two sides runs out in 2026. As part of the negotiations, the Bengals have committed $100 million to renovations of Paycor Stadium.

According to Steve Watkins of the Cincinnati Business Courier, those upgrades will "involve areas that fans will experience, including updated video and audio systems, renovations to suites and club lounges, concession upgrades and beautification projects."

And, of course, new TVs.
