Braves Prospect Might Be Worst Pitcher In Baseball With 35 Wild Pitches In 3 Innings

We may have just found the worst baseball pitcher ever to play the game at a competitive level.

Allow me to introduce you to Atlanta Braves pitching prospect Francisco Vicioso, who has looked like the baseball equivalent of the Washington Generals - only he's actually trying (and getting paid!)

A new Reddit thread has gone viral as the world was introduced to the 19-year-old pitcher who currently plays in the Braves Dominican Republic Summer League.

The stat line is honestly stunning.

In three innings of pitching, Vicioso hit 4 batters, gave up TWENTY runs, walked 28 batters and somehow threw 35 wild pitches!!! If that wasn't impressive enough for all the wrong reasons, Francisco has appeared in 10 games throughout the past two seasons and has an ERA of 60.00.

To his credit, Vicioso does have movement on his pitches - it's just that they would look better on a beach when playing wiffle ball.

BRAVES PITCHER FRANCISCO VICIOSO HAS APPEARED IN 10 SUMMER LEAGUE GAMES

It's unclear how or why Vicioso still has a job - or the scout who recruited and signed him. You'd think that maybe after hitting the first 17 batters or so that someone in the Braves front office or even Vicioso's coach would have stepped up and said that maybe this whole not being able to pitch despite being a pitcher isn't really working out for the best.

Looks like we're going to need another reboot of the Major League movies - except this time it won't be Charlie Sheen portraying "Wild Thing" Rick Vaughn and having difficulty pitching because of the yips. No, this would literally be Francisco Vicioso putting the "wild" in the amount of wild pitches he has thrown.
