Anthony Kim Arrives In Jeddah Ahead Of LIV Golf Debut Looking Exactly Like A Guy Who Disappeared For 12 Years
Anthony Kim essentially went into hiding in 2012 and, over the last 12 years has been looked at as more of a mysterious ghost than a guy who was once one of the biggest stars in professional golf. His hiatus will come to an end this weekend in Jeddah where he will tee it up in LIV Golf's third event of the season.
To no surprise, Kim arrived in Saudi Arabia looking exactly like a guy who had disappeared for over a decade.

The 38-year-old is taking full advantage of LIV's laid-back dress code and rolled up to the driving range wearing a white t-shirt, sweat shorts, and a pair of sneakers. The tattoo sleeve on the left arm plus the man bun poking out of the back of the snapback hat completes the look, if we're being honest.
While the uber-casual attire will catch everyone's attention, especially any of the younger golf fans out there who don't remember AK, those who do remember him will notice his swing looks awfully familiar. Even the pre-shot routine of taking the club back a couple of inches before pulling the trigger, then getting every inch out of his rotation and getting to his left side, it all looks the same.
You can't forget the choking up on the club, too. He did that during his heyday, and it's clear he never stopped.
It's impossible to predict how Kim will perform in a tournament setting against some of the top players on the planet. He's certainly been playing in big-money games in Las Vegas and elsewhere, but you can't simulate competitive rounds, especially when you're talking about a 12-year hiatus from playing at the highest level.
Kim will be competing as a wildcard this week in Jeddah, meaning he won't be a part of the team format. Who knows, he may roll up to the first tee wearing a similar outfit, shorts are allowed and players don't have to tuck in their shirts on LIV Golf, so we shall see.
