Angel Reese Gets Away With Multiple Violations, Embarrasses WNBA Refs: VIDEO

WNBA refs missed multiple violations on Angel Reese during a Thursday win over the Dallas Wings.

Reese picked off a pass during the third quarter of the 83-72 win for the Chicago Sky, and it was absolutely comical what happened next.

The former LSU star appeared to commit two double dribble violations, she carried and I'm pretty confident she also traveled at one point.

Not a single one of the violations was called. Instead, she was able to get down the court for a lay-up. Watch the hilarious sequence of events unfold in the video below.

You can also watch a second angle in the video below starting around the one-minute mark.

Angel Reese embarrasses WNBA refs on steal sequence.

I'll be the first to admit that I don't know much about WNBA refs, but I've been informed the league is notorious for its bad officiating.

It's hard to argue that the reputation isn't well-earned after what we've seen just this season. Caitlin Clark has been mauled, Kelsey Plum got jacked up without a foul being called and Angel Reese committed multiple violations without the refs making a call.

Remember when Reese claimed some people have a "special whistle" after losing to Caitlin Clark? I wonder if this is what she was referencing.

There are middle school officials who could have called this better.

As bad as this one was, the Kelsey Plum missed call is among the worst no-calls I've ever seen in sports. She was literally getting ragdolled and the WNBA refs didn't do anything.

Now, the examples of incompetence and poor officiating just keep stacking up.

The standard of officiating in the WNBA needs to improve drastically. The league finally has some attention, and it's just leading to the refs being exposed day after day. Let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
