A'ja Wilson Cries During Postgame Press Conference After Las Vegas Aces Loss

Don't ever accuse A'ja Wilson of not caring about winning WNBA games! The Las Vegas Aces star cried during her postgame conference after the team lost to the New York Liberty on Saturday.

The Aces are the back-to-back defending WNBA champions, but they are struggling this season. Their 90-82 loss against the Liberty dropped them to 6-6 on the season; they only lost seven games last year for the entire season (including playoffs).

Apparently, this loss really affected Wilson. The tears streamed down her face as she talked about being the best teammate she can be, which she said can be "hard as shit."

"I get y'all saying [I'm the] best player in the world. That's great… but I want to be the best person. I want to be the best teammate," Wilson said through her tears.

"I don't want to be great for you guys, no offense, but I want to be great for my team," she continued. "It is hard as shit because there's tons of people that want to break you down. Great teams in this league that are going to try to come after you every single night.

"When you're talking about greatness, it starts with consistency. Anybody can be good here and there, but who can be great every single game, every possession? And that's what I'm striving for. And it's hard as shit. I promise y'all, it's hard as shit."

Well, then. Apparently, life in the WNBA can be "hard as shit," since Wilson said that four times in one answer.

As hard as it might be for Wilson, it's even harder for Caitlin Clark when other WNBA players are really out to get her game.

Not even just by fouling her, mocking her, and talking about her on social media and during press conferences

But these players often seem like they're out to get Clark and make her look silly, on-and-off the basketball court.

Now that would make life "hard as shit."
