Aaron Rodgers Ridiculously Named A Top 100 Player After Playing Four Snaps Last Season

Whatever sorcery Aaron Rodgers did in Egypt, it worked. NFL fans were shocked Monday when they learned that the Jets quarterback had made the NFL's Top 100 list for 2023.

Rodgers, 40, attempted just one pass (incomplete) all season.

The NFL began rolling out its year-end, player-voted list Monday and drew a big reaction from fans when it announced Rodgers as number 92 on the top 100 list.

Notable names behind Rodgers (who played full seasons) include Jacksonville Jags quarterback Trevor Lawrence and Washington Commanders wideout Terry McLaurin.

Fans dished their thoughts on Rodgers' selection.

"Dude he played 5 minutes," one user on X commented.

Another reacted, "Might as well have Tom Brady on the list, if we having players who didnt play last season."

Rodgers is good when healthy, no doubt, but getting a nod at 92 after playing four total snaps last year is criminal. Rodgers wasn't deserving of a spot in the top 500.

None of that takes away from Rodgers' respect around the league, still riding high despite his year-long absence last season.

Rodgers's Week 1 Achilles rupture against the Buffalo Bills disappointed NFL fans who were waiting for the Rodgers-led Jets to fall short of their Super Bowl-or-bust expectations. Since the injury, the bulk of the chatter around Rodger has been about his off-field endeavors, including his amped support for Robert F. Kennedy as a presidential candidate.

Maybe we should take Rodgers at his word when he calls playing in the NFL "easy."
