A-Rod Reportedly In Danger of Losing Bid For Minnesota Timberwolves
Yankees legend Alex Rodriguez and his investing partner Marc Lore are in danger of not completing their purchase of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
According to new reports, A-Rod and Lore owe Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor a final payment of $600 million. The sale of the Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx of the WNBA was estimated at $1.5 billion.

The investing tandem has until the end of the month to pay Taylor.
Rodriguez and Lore are expected to cover half of the total — an equity group initially in agreement to cover the remaining half of the final payment backed out.
Rodriguez and Lore are looking for majority ownership of the Timberwolves and Lynx. They previously partnered with the Carlyle Investment Group until both sides abruptly split.
A spokesperson on behalf of A-Rod spoke to the Daily Mail, setting expectations for the final payment to be met regardless of their predicament.

With Anthony Edwards, Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns on board to spearhead the team for the foreseeable future, A-Rod and Lore are determined to complete the acquisition. Rodriguez and Lore are in for a good deal as the Minnesota Timberwolves climb to prominence in the highly competitive Western Conference this season.
