For $16, You Can Sit On A Toilet At A Minor League Baseball Game
At one Minor League ballpark, the best seat in the house is… the toilet.
The Lake County Captains — the High-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians — have unveiled "Roto Rooter Toilet Row" at their home ballpark. And yes, it's exactly what it sounds like: a row of commodes behind home plate.
Proving once again that Minor League Baseball is truly special.
In a press release on Friday, the Captains emphasized that the eight seats are "super comfortable" and "elegantly designed" while offering "unparalleled views of the action." Each potty also comes equipped with a magazine rack for in-game reading materials.
"Everyone deserves a VIP experience, and with Toilet Row, we're taking that to a whole new level," Captains GM Jen Yorko said. "Thanks to Roto-Rooter, fans can now enjoy the game from the best 'seat' in the house."
During each home game, two fans will also get to compete in a plunger-throwing contest, with the winner earning a special spot on toilet row.
The tickets are only $16 (what a steal!), and each toilet seat comes with service from a personal "bathroom attendant," who will bring you mouthwash, combs and gum throughout the game. No hot dog and beer breath for you!

To celebrate the opening of Toilet Row, the Captains' broadcast team even called Friday's game from the John. And hey, maybe it was good luck: Lake County defeated the Great Lakes Loons 2-1 to secure their fourth-straight win.
