Quick Pix

Every game, every pick for the entire BCS and maybe even a few winners mixed into the fold. When it comes to college football Saturdays, everyone needs action.

This time of year a plethora of teams have very little to play for each week. However fans, and more importantly gamblers, sweat the outcomes like a birth in the BCS title is hanging in the balance. In an attempt to show my philanthropic spirit, here's a score prediction for every power conference team this weekend highlighted by a handful of best bets.

Pittsburgh (-3) at Uconn

How do the Panthers get off the deck after the heartbreak in South Bend? They don't.  Uconn 24-20

Michigan (-9.5) vs Northwestern

Denard Robinson is banged up and will only see limited snaps. Michigan's strength recently has been their defense and it continues. Michigan 27-17

NC State (-7.5) vs Wake Forest

The Deacons are terrible but I have as much faith in the Wolfpack as chalk as I do in our economy. NC State 27-20

Rutgers (-17) vs Army

Yes, the Knights had a bye week but is Army really their focal point? Gross game against a capable option offense. Rutgers 35-20

Louisville (-1.5) at Syracuse

Sometimes a line tells you a story that bears listening. I'll remain stubborn and go against my better judgment here. Louisville 28-27

Virginia (-1) vs Miami

The Hurricanes don't need this game and won't be focused. That's not a guess, it's a statement. Virginia 31-21 (BEST BET)

Minnesota (-3) at Illinois

It hurts my head to even think about this trainwreck. One team has to win right? There's no winner here under any circumstance.  Minnesota 6-4

Wisconsin (-7.5) at Indiana

Indiana is in contention for a Rose Bowl! No, I haven't been drinking heavily to delude myself into thinking that's a fact. Order is restored in Bloomington. Wisconsin 34-21

Iowa (-5) vs Purdue

You'd have to be crazy to lay points with an Iowa team this bad...sign me up! Iowa 31-17

Ole Miss (-3) vs Vanderbilt

Vandy has feasted on 2 cupcakes the last two weeks. Ole Miss gets a big conference win. Ole Miss 27-20 (BEST BET)

North Carolina (-8) vs Georgia Tech

Not sure how the Yellow Jackets get consistent stops. Come to think of it, they won't. North Carolina 45-24

Alabama (-13.5) vs Texas A&M

The Aggies better bring their A-game because even in a letdown spot Alabama will be ready to inflict pain. Tide win, and it's not close Alabama 38-14

Georgia (-14.5) at Auburn

Win one for Chizki!!! That's not gonna happen but a cover would still be nice. Georgia 28-17

Nebraska (-8.5) vs Penn St

T-Magic has been a different animal in Lincoln and Penn St's improbable season encounters a major road block. Nebraska 38-20

Notre Dame (-19) at Boston College

I'm sure this is the game ABC really wanted to show the nation in primetime. Jesuits vs Catholics has as much intrigue as a real life holy war. Notre Dame 28-10

USC (-9) vs Arizona St

What morivation do the Trojans have here? I'm banking on none so much so I'd bet against them here. Arizona St 38-34 (BEST BET)

Utah (-1) at Washington

Given Washington's dominance at home, this line tells a story. Utes have been hot and they'll stay that way. Utah 21-17

Oregon (-27.5) at California

Time for Old Tedford to dust off that resume and start looking for new employment come 2013. Oregon 52-17

Oklahoma St (-9.5) vs West Virginia

Mountaineers have struggled mightily as of late but Dana's homecoming might give them something to cheer about. Oklahoma St 45-42

Kansas St (-7) at TCU

Why stop picking against K-St now since it's been so successful all year? I'm a glutton for punishment. TCU 31-28

Cincinnati (-9) at Temple

The Big East is still considered the BCS...at least by some people. Watch Temple however and you'll quickly disagree. Cincinnati 27-20

Tennessee (-3) vs Missouri

The Tigers struggle to move the ball against talented SEC defenses. Fortunately for them, the same problem won't exist here. Missouri 31-24

Texas (-10) vs Iowa State

Texas showed a little bit of fight last week against Tech. They're still not worthy of being double digit conference favorites. Texas 30-24

UCLA (-16.5) at Washington State

I wonder if Mike Leach questions his decision to get back into coaching every time he goes to practice. UCLA 38-27

Arizona (-29) vs Colorado

Now that pot's legal in Colorado at least Buffs fans will have an easier time forgetting the Jon Embree era. Arizona 42-13

South Carolina (-13.5) vs Arkansas

Why do I have a weird feeling Arkansas is a live underdog here? South Carolina wins...but by the slimmest of margins. South Carolina 24-21

Texas Tech (-26) vs Kansas

It's almost hoops season in Lawrence and not a moment too soon for Rock Chalk. Tech in a route... Texa Tech 49-20

Oklahoma (-21.5) vs Baylor

When was the last time the Sooners had revenge vs Baylor? GL in this one Art Briles, you're going to need it. Oklahoma 56-24

Stanford (-4) vs Oregon St

I'm actually starting to believe in the Beavers, loser of this one sees their Pac 12 north title hopes dashed. Oregon St 20-17

LSU (-16) vs Mississippi St

Can the Tigers shake off last week's collapse to Alabama? I don't think so and Miss St gives them a scare. LSU 20-14
