Outkick the Show: Monday, September 9, 2019

On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis addressed the shocking upset on Sunday, with the Tennessee Titans winning big over the highly favored Cleveland Browns. Clay frequently commented on Baker Mayfield and his off-the-field antics during the off-season, and Mayfield and the Browns were thoroughly embarrassed in an epic beat-down by the Titans.

Clay also addressed Antonio Brown’s release by the Oakland Raiders and immediately hire by the New England Patriots. Whether or not AB will toe-the-line and comfort to the Patriot way is yet to be seen.

Clay then praised the performance of Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott in their crushing defeat over the New York Giants. Dak looked phenomenal, said Travis, and will see a nice payday in his future.

Clay also talked about Jameis Winston and his awful performance for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. According to Travis, it is time for Winston to go. Clay added that college and professional football teams in south Florida began the season 0-10, the worst showing of any region in the country.

Clay then discussed the problems surrounding the Tennessee Volunteers football team, who are now 0-2 for the season. Jeremy Pruitt’s job is now on the line after their defeat against BYU, but the SEC East is weak and the Vols might be able to compete against everyone in their conference other than Georgia.

Clay brought up the LSU Tigers win over the Texas Longhorns, with Heisman Trophy candidate QB Joe Burrow and his passing performance.

Clay discussed Lamar Jackson’s phenomenal performance against the beleaguered Miami Dolphins.

Clay concluded by listing his SEC power ratings and the Outkick top ten.
