OddsShark Gambling Preview

The top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide (8-0) return from their bye week to face their toughest opponent to date according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

The defending national champion Crimson Tide are listed as 7.5-point road favorites against the LSU Tigers (5-2) on Saturday and had closed as double-digit chalk in each of their previous eight games.

Alabama has won the past five meetings with LSU, but the road team is 0-3-1 against the spread in the last four games between the teams. The Tide is also 6-1 ATS in its last seven road games while the Tigers have covered three in a row at home after starting the season by failing to beat the spread in their first four games.

The second-ranked Michigan Wolverines (8-0) and third-ranked Clemson Tigers (8-0) have much easier matchups this week at home, and the point spreads certainly reflect that. The Wolverines are 31-point favorites hosting the Maryland Terrapins (5-3) while the Tigers are 27-point chalk versus the Syracuse Orange (4-4).

Michigan has won five straight Big Ten games, and Maryland has dropped 11 of 14. Clemson has won 20 consecutive home games but has gone 1-3 ATS in the past four meetings with Syracuse despite winning the previous three.
