NHL: 'No Chance' Game 5 Of The Stanley Cup Will Be Postponed Wednesday Night

The Stanley Cup Finals has, for the most part, been a one-sided affair, with the Tampa Bay Lightning building a 3-1 series lead over the Montreal Canadiens.

The Canadiens extended the series with a win in Game Four down three games to none, and Game Five is set for Wednesday night in Tampa.

The problem is Tampa is right in the path of Tropical Storm Elsa, setting up a potential dangerous situation for the teams and fans who will be at the game.

While it might make sense to cancel the game or push it to Thursday, reports say that the NHL currently has no intention of postponing the game.

Tampa Bay, Montreal and many NHL personnel are all in Tampa, which is a plus as the teams won't have to travel today.

The National Hurricane Center issued a hurricane warning for a portion of the Florida Gulf Coast as Elsa's winds picked up on Tuesday.

Current forecasts indicate that the storm should be done by Wednesday afternoon, and unless there's damage to Amalie Arena, the game will go on.

Tampa is looking to clinch their second straight Stanley Cup, while Montreal is hoping to keep their season alive in the do-or-die affair.
