Who Will Get Out Of Houston First: JJ Watt Or Deshaun Watson?

J.J. Watt's teammates and coaches reportedly believe he's played his last game for the Texans, so a new question arrises:

Who's out the door first between Watt and Deshaun Watson? I believe it's Watson and I'll explain why.

Now that the Rams and Lions set the bar at two first-round picks, a third-round pick, and Jared Goff for Mathew Stafford--the price for Watson is even higher.

One thing that's important to understand before we move forward is that the Rams didn't really give up two firsts for Stafford. The deal likely took a first for Stafford and a first to get Jared Goff's dismal four-year, $134 million contract off their hands. But regardless, the Lions reeled in a haul of picks and it's going to help the Texans cash in on this upcoming deal.

And yes, I said upcoming because despite what Texans' GM Nick Caserio said about "not having any interest in moving his quarterback"--unhappy employees never last. So what's in his best interest is using this inflated trade market to his advantage while he still can.

The difference between J.J.Watt and Deshaun Watson is that one player is a top-5 player at his position, and the other used to be. With that said, Watt's decision is likely to come later in the offseason when teams are looking to fill holes in their rosters.

Deshaun Watson isn't a "last-minute" decision these days. If a team wants any chance of landing his talents, then they can expect to mortgage their future. All of the teams involved will probably step right up immediately and it's the reason why I believe Watson lands in New York, Chicago or Miami in the next few weeks.

I also couldn't let this article end before mentioning how the Texans don't deserve either of these two studs. Hopefully Nick Caserio puts one of these guys out their misery soon.
