Watch Dolphins Coaches Work With Najee Harris At Senior Bowl
The Miami Dolphins have two first-round picks in the 2021 NFL Draft, and they need weapons on offense. Najee Harris is widely considered the top running back available in the 2021 NFL Draft. In other words, there is an obvious connection between the two parties.
The Dolphins coaching staff will participate in the Senior Bowl, giving Brian Flores and company a chance to see the Alabama running back up close and personal all week. That will be valuable come April, and it could eventually mean Harris ends up in Miami.
Cameron Wolfe will get a nice look at Dolphins running back coach Eric Studesville working closely with Harris. And as Wolfe points out, Flores won't be far away ... gathering useful intel.
There has been talk during the offseason that Miami should move away from Harris' former teammate, Tua Tagovailoa, but it's doubtful that they will at this point. Instead, they should look to add more talent around the No. 5 pick of the 2020 draft.
How about adding some familiar talent for Tagovailoa? He understands what it's like to share a backfield with Harris and several other players from that high-flying Alabama offense: DeVonta Smith, Alex Leatherwood, Deonte Brown and Landon Dickerson.
Add those in with early entrant Jaylen Waddle, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see at least one of them back in an offense with Tagovailoa. Who knows, there might be a couple of them.
