Vontaze Burfict Cried His Eyes Out After Arrest
Former NFL linebacker Vontaze Burfict stumbled around Las Vegas late last year looking for “secret pizza” but came away with a Wham burger and some French cries.
TMZ released video today from the aftermath of Burfict’s December 2020 arrest in which the ex-Bengal and Raider let the water works flow. It took seven people to restrain the linebacker after he was involved in an altercation with multiple casino security guards. The altercation started because Burfict and a friend were upset that they were unable to locate the Secret Pizza restaurant. Apparently, the secluded eatery’s name is a perfect fit for it’s tough-to-find location.

Following the incident, Burfict, a veteran of eight pro seasons, was charged with one count of misdemeanor battery that was later dropped. The former Arizona State Sun Devil’s playing career wasn’t without incident. Burfict was suspended a total of 22 games over the course of his NFL career for violating player safety rules.
Prior to his tearful arrest, Burfict was usually the source of opponent’s tears. Hits to Antonio Brown, Anthony Sherman and Jack Doyle were all deemed illegal and resulted in suspension. In the likelihood that his career is now over, he’ll have finished with 622 tackles, 8.5 sacks and a Josh Gordon-like four suspensions. He last played in 2019.
