Two More Women File Lawsuits Against Deshaun Watson
Two more lawsuits alleging sexual assault have been filed against Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson, ESPN reported, citing the Harris County District Clerk's website.
That reportedly brings the number of lawsuits against the Houston Texans star quarterback to 21.
"One of the lawsuits alleges that Watson 'made obscene sexual gestures,' and the second says that over the course of four sessions, Watson 'purposely' exposed himself to the massage therapist and touched her with his penis and ultimately groped her, coerced her into oral sex and ejaculated on her," ESPN reported.
Watson has denied the claims, mostly via attorney Rusty Hardin.
"Any allegation that Deshaun forced a woman to commit a sexual act is completely false," Hardin said in a statement last week.
The NFL and players' union will only say they are keeping a close eye on the situation.
"We monitor these cases, and if it results in an investigation by the league with respect to the personal conduct policy, we'll become involved in that," union director DeMaurice Smith told ESPN. "Other than that -- you know historically I don't comment on open cases -- but we are continuing to monitor it as it might impact this young man and the personal conduct policy."
Texans general manager Nick Caserio said the team is taking it "one day at a time" in regards to Watson, as relayed in an earlier post on OutKick.
