Travis Kelce's Longtime Girlfriend Rips Officiating Crew Over Calls In Super Bowl LV
The longtime girlfriend of Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce, Kayla Nicole, is speaking out after the Chiefs lost Super Bowl LV to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-9 Sunday evening at Raymond James Stadium.
Nicole took to social media to voice her displeasure about some of the calls from the game, including a holding call that the officials didn't call.
Kayla didn't stop there with her issues with the officiating. She also went on Instagram and posted a message about holding.
“Holding: the illegal restraining of another player who is not in possession of the ball,” she wrote, according to People. “Holding is prohibited in most football leagues, unless you’re playing against Tom Brady.”
Nicole's issues with the officials continued during the game, as she tweeted out, "If yall wanted to see the Chiefs vs the refs just say that.
The model — who runs fitness brand Strong Is Sexy — continued her criticism on Twitter before offering her congratulations to the Buccaneers for their second Super Bowl victory.
"Congrats to the @Buccaneers," she added in a later tweet. "Tough game to watch but y'all got it."
