TO Showed Up At Deion's Football Camp, Took Some Young Players To School

It’s been 11 years since Hall of Famer Terrell Owens last laced 'em up in an NFL game. But as up and comers saw first-hand at Deion Sanders’ football camp, the old man looks like he could still play on Sundays.

The 47-year-old abused the camp's defensive back in a variety of ways: pure speed, precision route-running, power off the line, etc.

The head coach at Jackson State, legendary defensive back Deion Sanders hosted the camp for high school and junior college players. Sanders extended Owens an invitation to assist with coaching the young athletes. As camp wound down, T.O. gave campers the opportunity to try and shut him down. They obviously didn’t come close.

The group of mostly teens shouldn’t have been surprised to see Owens dominate the young DBs. A quick scroll through YouTube shows Owens embarrassing Pro-Bowl defenders with similar ease. Asked why he schooled Deion’s campers, T.O. simply tweeted: “they said they wanted that work!”

 

That work should look familiar to NFL fans who watched the former 49er, Eagle, Cowboy, Bill and Bengal carve up pro defenses for over a decade. The 2016 Hall of Fame inductee hauled in more than 1,000 passes for close to 16,000 yards and 153 touchdowns in his career. Decent numbers for a player who slid to the third-round of the 1996 NFL draft.

Owens famously told NFL cameras, mid-game, “I love me some me.” After watching the guy work, we can’t blame him.
