TJ Watt, Steelers Agree On $112 Million Extension, $80 Million Guaranteed

TJ Watt and the Steelers have agreed to terms on a four-year, $112 million extension that makes the all-pro outside linebacker the high-paid defensive player in the NFL. $80 MILLION GUARANTEED.

The two sides signed on the dotted line just 24 hours after Ben Roethlisberger told the team to pay up. Guess Watt owes his QB a hug, huh? Maybe a new watch.

Pittsburgh has now locked up the face of their defense until 2025 and places all focus back on winning the AFC north. With the recent injury bug biting the Ravens in division -- all the chips are stacking up for Pittsburgh to make a run.
