The Seahawks Are Talking With Adam Gase About A Gig As Offensive Coordinator

Not sure how Adam Gase keeps acquiring big time gigs, but he's now in the hunt for offensive coordinator of the Seattle Seahawks. According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the two sides have already discussed the opening to call plays for Russell Wilson.

Maybe it was the inexplicable win that lost the Jets their top overall pick in this year's draft? Gase failed at every aspect of football, and when you combine his clueless look with his poor handling of a young up-and-coming Sam Darnold--this hire would be dumbfounding for Seattle.

If the rest of the NFL keeps entertaining Gase, they must feel like the problem really was Sam Darnold, right? Either way, Seattle has other creative options like Patriots' OC Josh McDaniels or Eric Bieniemy out of Kansas City, that come from much more creative and successful offenses.

Also, Pete Carroll is 69-years-old, so it's likely he wants a fast-acting solution, too.
