Sammy Watkins Has 'Good Visit' With Ravens, Will Speak To Colts Next

It's hard to believe that Sammy Watkins is still just 27 years old, as it feels like he's been in the league for quite a few years.

Watkins spent the last three seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, making 129 catches for 1,613 yards and eight scores in that time. Last season, Watkins had 37 catches for 421 yards and two scores.

He's on the free agent market now though, and he's even been talking to a couple of the Chiefs' foes in the AFC.

The first team Watkins spoke to is the Baltimore Ravens. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Watkins and the Ravens had a “good visit” and that Baltimore is still interested in signing him after Steelers free agent JuJu Smith-Schuster turned them down.

Watkins left Baltimore without a deal though. On Wednesday, he will speak to another AFC contender, the Indianapolis Colts, who could also use a wide receiver.

The Ravens still have a couple of options if in fact Watkins decides to sign elsewhere. Antonio Brown, TY Hilton, Willie Snead and Kenny Stills are a few pass catchers the team could look at as well.
