Saints' Kwon Alexander Tears Achilles

It's now official that Saints' linebacker Kwon Alexander tore his Achilles in tonight's game against the Vikings. Awful news and gut punch to the Saints' chances to outrun Tom Brady and the Buccaneers.

What's even worse is that this injury came late in the season that took out Alexander for not just this season, but well into next year. The sixth-year star was having a major impact in 2020 with three tackles for a loss and 36 solo tackles.

Remains to be seen what Saints' head coach Sean Payton does to make up for his absence. Defense looked a shaky today, so he better get to work.
