Mack Wilson has performed admirably in camp and in the preseason, but his future with the Cleveland Browns is still in doubt.
Per Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, the Browns are currently taking calls from teams interested in the 2019 fifth-round pick out of Alabama. The Browns have less than 24 hours to make a deal for Wilson, if they intend to cut him.
In two seasons with the team, Wilson started 22 and racked up 121 total tackles. However, a hyperextended knee affected his playing time in year two, when he played in 13 games and recorded 39 tackles.
Teams are always looking to shore up the linebacker spot, so Cleveland could have the upper hand as teams might be looking for a guy like Wilson.
