Rams GM Les Snead Makes It Sound Like Aaron Rodgers Is A Possibility

Rams GM Les Snead was asked by a reporter whether Jared Goff was their future quarterback, and his answer was juicy:

"He's a Ram right now, what's today? Jan. 26...", Snead said.

He could've said, "Look, guys, we're evaluating our team, and we'll figure that our down the road." But he didn't. He got petty and couldn't have made Goff's future in L.A. sound more uncertain.

What's even more interesting is what he said about Packers' star Aaron Rodgers:

Well, no answer is really an answer in itself. Jared Goff is signed to a four-year, $134 million deal. If you can't answer whether that guy is your future, there's a disconnect.

It sounds more likely that they're making statements about evaluating the future to make sure they don't diminish Goff's trade value.

We also can't ignore Les Snead's reference to Aaron Rodgers' quote on a "beautiful mystery." Is it possible that Aaron Rodgers wants to ditch Wisconsin for the sunshine of Los Angeles? After his 20-year tenure with the Patriots, Tom Brady just handpicked a squad and turned it into another success story. So why couldn't Rodgers do the same?

He probably feels he can. And why wouldn't he? He's the MVP.

Pay close attention to the Rodgers camp going forward because the Rams might be calling for a discount double-check soon enough.
