Patrick Mahomes WILL Put Ketchup on His Thanksgiving Turkey and Ham

Patrick Mahomes famously puts ketchup on everything. His preference for putting ketchup on steaks even led to an endorsement deal. So it shouldn't come as a massive surprise that this ketchup eccentricity extends to Thanksgiving.

Mahomes did his weekly spot on KCSP 610 Sports Radio in Kansas City on Monday, and when he was asked around the 8-minute mark of the clip above about Thanksgiving turkey, he answered matter-of-factly:

"You gotta put ketchup on that, come on. Turkey and ham."

He affirmed that he was not joking. He would not joke about such a serious matter: "Come on man, you know me better than that."

Some people who hear this clip will inevitably act like Mahomes has committed war crimes by violating the sanctity of Thanksgiving dinner with improper condiments. Here's my whole philosophy on life: If something makes you happy and doesn't infringe on others' pursuit of happiness, then go wild.

Mahomes has such a benign Zen about him, on and off the field, and we should all appreciate his transcendent talent while it's in our lives.
