Packers Looking To Make QB Moves With Aaron Rodgers Uncertainty

The Packers are currently in a standoff with longtime quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The league's reigning MVP wants out of Green Bay, but those in charge don't want to move one of the all-time great signal-callers anytime soon.

Still, with Rodgers threatening retirement, something needs to be done.

Jordan Love, Green Bay's first-round pick last year, is the only other quarterback on the roster. If Rodgers, the projected starter, isn't going participate in offseason work, the team needs to bring in at least one more arm to compete and take snaps.

On Thursday morning, Adam Schefter with ESPN tweeted that the Packers are exploring possible quarterbacks to add for OTAs (organized team activities) and training camp. The search will include some veterans.

As of right now, there isn't much available, though there are some notable free agents, such as Robert Griffin III, Blake Bortles, Nick Mullens and Brett Hundley. There's also Jeff Driskel, who was released by the Broncos on Tuesday.

Slim pickings, but the Packers have to do something.
